Throughout the next two weeks, the UK will be working hard to beat their Winter Olympic record of 4 medals in PyeongChang.
We will be watching our team on its road to success. We have 59 athletes competing in 11 of the 15 events throughout the competition.
Lizzy Yarnold, who carried the flag for the opening ceremonies, will be defending her gold from the last Olympics on Friday and Saturday.
Look out for Elise Christie in the speed skating competitions. She could get Team GB most of the way to breaking their record if she performs like she did in the 2017 World Championships where she won 4 medals.
Eve Muirhead will be leading her team in the curling competitions, so watch out for her along with Anna Sloan, Vicki Adams, and Lauren Gray as they begin to compete on Wednesday. They took home bronze in 2014, so you can be sure they’re hoping to beat themselves and the competition.
While we haven’t won any medals yet, our athletes will do us proud and we’re hoping they’ll bring home wins in their skeleton, skiing, and curling competitions.
PyeongChang is 9 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time, but BBC and Sky will be showing both live events as well as the highlights of the various events. See the full schedule here.
