There’s always been something overtly animated and cartoon-like about pop-princess Lady Gaga, so her latest incarnation into The Simpsons is an obvious and apt choice. Featuring a total of 18 outfit changes, as well as recreations of her most famous and ill-advised looks such as her fire-breathing bra and infamous meat-dress, Lady Gaga appears in The Simpsons’ season finale.
Gaga who becomes Lisa’s new friend arrives in the small town of Springfield because she discovers that it is filled with low self esteem and aims to change that Gagastyle through the mediums of speech, song and flashmob.
Gaga herself voices her Simpsons character in “Lisa Goes Gaga,” and somewhat surprisingly there’s no diva behaviour here. Simpsons producers were said to be seriously impressed not only with her voice-acting range, but also her improvisational skills – she did attend NYU’s Tisch School Of The Arts after all – she’s definitely no amateur!
The Simpsons “Lisa Goes Gaga” will be aired on Fox on 20th May.
