You can’t get better than these 5 exotic and eye-popping shades courtesy of Thakoon and Nars as a segue into this season’s brights. As an extension of their Fashion Week collaboration, fashion tour de force Thakoon Panichgul, beloved by the stylish likes of Michelle Obama, Jessica Alba and Sienna Miller, and Francois Nars were inspired by the heavily-saturated shades of an Indian spice market.
There’s no doubt that these will be the break from saccharinely sweet pastels, but which to choose?
My fingertips are currently lacquered in Anardana, a pulsating hot azalea pink inspired by the dried pomegranate seeds after which it is named. Those who are tanned or dark skinned will absolutely adore the contrast of Kutki, a strong and powdery blue and Amchoor a sunshine bright yellow. Whilst the deep turquoise of Koliary is as close to a clear, blue lagoon in the Meditteranean as you could possibly get bottled. And last but not least, Ratin Jot is a perfectly edgy vibrant orchid violet, ideal for Summer toes.
