Provocative, darkly seductive and always inspiring, the new Agent Provocateur campaign for autumn winter 2012, featuring Mónica Cruz does not disappoint.
Entitled ‘Wilhelmina: Show Your True Self’ the short film begins in dark, Victorian London, and tells the story of a young woman whose true spirit is revealed when captured by a magical camera.
Shot in Clerkenwell’s House of Detention, a decomissioned prison rumoured to be haunted by the one-time residents, the atmosphere is suitably foreboding and palpable, that is until Monica steps in front of the camera, and her inner Agent Provocateur-worthy sexiness is released.
Sarah Shotten, Agent Provocateur’s Creative Director explains, “The film is glamorous, dark and mysterious. It is set in a gothic underground space, brought alive by Mónica Cruz’s frenzied and fantastical performance.
