Gourmet Odyssey
September 29, 2012

This year, Gourmet Odyssey offer up three themed lunch dates;
To start the festival off, today, 29th September will cover some of East London’s hippest hang-outs. Start out with a champagne reception at the Old Bengal Bar, before popping to the newest Mark Hix offering, Tramshed, enjoy the magnificent subterranean bar at Hawksmoor in Spitalfields and finish up at the elegantly utilitarian Brawn on Columbia Road. Where you enjoy each course will remain a surprise until the day itself but what you can be sure of, is that your lunch will be uniquely brilliant and hell of a change from your usual hangout.
Saturday 6th October – Today’s theme is the Classics – some of the more established, well known and renowned of the London restaurant industry, where you can expect to work your way around Brown’s Hotel, Hix at the Albemarle, Wilton‘s and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. During the Classics Gourmet Odyssey guests will enjoy a different Champagne from Laurent-Perrier with each course.
Saturday 13 October – if you fancy something a little more cutting edge, this is the Gourmet Odyssey for you, offering a lunch at some of the newest restaurants to have taken the capital by storm, including Novikov, Novikov (Asian room), Banca and Brasserie Zedel.
