X Factor judge Gary Barlow has made no secret of his desire to create a movie based on Take That but what has come to light over the weekend, whilst Barlow has apparently been deep in talks, is who he thinks should play the roles of Robbie, Jason, Mark, Howard and of course, himself.
The Take That frontman has said that for him, funny man James Corden would be his first choice. He admitted that he loves the Gavin and Stacey comedian, and according to our sources, the feeling is mutual as Corden is a big fan of the boy band,
“I’d definitely have James Corden to play me – he’s such a great bloke, I love him”.
For his band mates however he has other plans. Barlow said, “Howard Donald always thinks he looks like Willem Dafoe, so that would be a good one. Jason Orange is a bit Brad Pitt. Who’d be Mark? It’s be Ant or Dec, or you could even fo both. . .And probably someone like Matt damon should take on the role of Robbie Williams.”
Hmm we’re not fully on board with some of Gary’s choices – I mean Ant and Dec to play Mark? We’re not quite sure even the comedy duo could pull that off, but either way, a Take That Film? Now that is music to our ears.
