What a year 2012 was for Stella McCartney.
Having been chosen to create over 500 pieces Team GB Kit for the London Olympics, there was no stopping the British fashion designer who went on to win the accolades Designer of the Year and Designer Brand of the Year at the 2012 British Fashion Awards. Later, in December, Google then announced that Stella McCartney topped the 2012 Zeitgeist List as the most searched for fashion brand of the year.
And just when we thought things couldn’t get any greater for McCartney, Stella was named in the New Year Honours List and awarded an OBE.
