Lovers of quirky Brit flicks will love Sightseers, it is a black comedy written by and starring Alice Lowe & Steve Oram. Both comedy writers, having worked on many shows including, ‘Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place’ and The Mighty Boosh.
They are long time collaborators but Sightseers is the first feature they have worked on together. The lead characters in Sightseers were partly inspired by characters they originally performed live together on the comedy circuit.
A dark and funny journey in an Abbey Oxford Caravan, taking in the sights of the Crich Tramway Museum, the Ribblehead Viaduct, the Keswick Pencil Museum and the rolling countryside of England.
