From those whose eponymous lines or brands we may not yet recognise, but absolutely need to know about, to the more infamous, renowned and much-loved and coveted names in the industry and their latest collections, inspirations and must-buys.
Barbara Casasola
London based Brazil born fashion designer, Barbara Casasola is a graduate of the prestigious Central St Martin’s. Constantly being compared to the British darling of fashion, Stella McCartney, Casasola is slowly but surely making waves in the fashion mix.
Her expertise clearly lies in formalwear. It exhibits a refined sense of detail, oozing a daring mix of sexiness, class and can slip into the wardrobe of any woman with simplicity and ease. Casasola explains how she needs to keep “romance alive” in her designs, a vibe that is clearly evident in her recent S/S13 spring collection.
