The Fifth Estate reveals a compelling, fictionalised account of the news-leaking website, Wikileaks. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as its infamous editor-in-chief and founder Julian Assange whilst Daniel Brühl plays the former spokesperson of the website Daniel Domscheit-Berg.
The friendship between Assange and one of his closest confederates, Domscheit-Berg, suffers and eventually frays, falling to pieces, as they undergo global scrutiny as Wikileaks becomes a threat to national security.
