Ever since my Bobbi Brown Long-Wear cream eye shadow stick arrived in my make-up purse I’ve used it every day. The colour is called Bittersweet and it is a gorgeous chocolate – too dark for milk, not dark enough for 70 per cent. It does just what it says. It’s long wearing and it’s creamy.
I’m fond of a creamy eye shadow because more than anything else I like speed in make-up. I like make-up that can be applied in the back of a taxi or as I’m running out the door.
This cream stick is fully creamy and goes on in a flash, yet it is much longer lasting than most cream shadows, and can be worn completely on its own.
I have been blending it with a new eye shadow palette from Dolce & Gabbana called Smoky, which comes with a wonderful tawny gold that adds an excellent shimmer to the Bobbi Brown cream stick.
People have actually complimented me on my eye make-up, something with NEVER happens because I always apply it so badly – in the back of taxis when dashing out.
This is a very good thing
