If you’ve ever found yourself in the position where you’re stuck between flights and are desperate for a hotel room for a few hours, or you’re passing through somewhere and just need some shut-eye you will like the idea of Dayuse. Founded in 2010 by five international hoteliers, this smart online hotel booking platform gives you hotels that will let you book for just a few hours (minimum 3, maximum 8) all around the world.
They now have over 1,500 hotels across 12 countries that welcome musicians between gigs, lovers who want some alone time, business men who want some home comforts – the list of their clients is endless.
Booking is very simple. You search from their homepage for the nearest hotels across France, Europe and across the Atlantic. Rooms can be booked in time slots depending on the hotel availability and it’s also possible to book a late day use until 11pm. You simply reserve online or via telephone and you will get an email or SMS confirmation. You then pay at the hotel counter and you don’t need to pay with a credit card.
Dayuse keeps the costs low too and rooms are charged from 30-70% less than the normal room rate for a full night’s stay. So that’s a cost of between £33 and £115 for a double room in a 3-5 star hotel.
