It used to be that the only good place to get good-quality pizza was Pizza Express – now it has all changed. Real-authentic and amazing quality pizza is now available from so many good spots and sourcing authentic ingredients from all parts of the world too. It’s Friday, and we are feeling Pizzer-ie (and now also super-hungry writing this) and Krista has gone to tasted these mouth-watering pizzas herself and compiled a little roundup of her favourite best new places to go and enjoy the best pizzas in London.

Tot Court Rd / Berwick Street / Covent Garden
Sourdough pizzas with a minimal amount of toppings, just the ones you need. The crust is chewy and crispy and delicious, there will be nobody leaving their crusts here. One of our faves. Slow-rising dough & baked in their wood burning ‘Tufae’ brick oven.

Dean Street and Kingly Court, Soho
Pizza Pilgrims are fun and just delicious: they use Italian plum tomatoes, flour from Naples, buffalo mozzarella shipped in from Caserta, basil from Berwick Street market > a good pizza shouldn’t need more than this!
They make traditional Neopolitan sourdough pizzas, using freshly-sourced authentic ingredients from in and around Naples – what more could you want from a good-quality pizza. They also have a cute little pizza van that makes appearances in London on the go, and you can book it for events, too!

This former pop-up is opening around the corner from our office, this spells pizza and danger! With toppings like pulled BBQ brisket with pickles or chorizo with corn and coriander, we’re seriously excited and worried for our winter wardrobe!

It may have only just opened, but this is already making us happy. The dough of award-winning US pizza maestro Bruno di Fabio, they’re light, crispy and we love them.
NY Fold are making us like true New-Yorkers by folding up our pizza, making us ditch the ever-so-british knife and fork. Opened by award-winning pizza expert known as the ‘Pizza King’ and their dough is especially exceptional for folding.

Sandy’s specialises in Corsican cuisine, so expect your pizza to have a crisp base with Italian/French combos such as the four-cheese, slathered with mozzarella, goats’ cheese, Roquefort and Gruyère.

They’ve been around for a while, but we couldn’t leave them out. The slices of pizza here are always bang on delicious, lots of cheese and a light base, you can eat a few slices here very easily!
Princi is an Italian bakery that specialise in authentic Italian cuisine, and as well as making their own wood-fired pizzas, they also have focaccia and salads and miles of tempting cakes and pastries.
