One of the biggest names in 90’s Fashion Photography has gathered a reunion of the modelling stars of the era, to recreate his famous January 1990 cover for Vogue.

The visionary photographer Peter Lindbergh was a catalyst in some of fashion’s most iconic moments. His legendary Vogue photo, starring Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford sparked off a decade of frash-faced stars, and also bought us George Michael’s “Freedom” video.
For Nowness Directors Cut, Lindbergh appointed Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele (Vogue fashion editor) for The Reunion; bringing together again Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Karen Alexander, Nadja Auermann and Patitz, in a short behind-the-scenes movie.
Peter Lindbergh is best known for his recurring work with the superstars within the modelling and fashion industry. Becoming a novelty in today’s fast-paced search for the ‘It’ girl; Lindbergh has created a signature style we all recognise in his flawless black and white portraits. His relationships with his subjects enables him to capture them on a personal level, provoking a unique, insightful touch.

“The thing that makes working with Peter memorable is just, Peter, his energy. He loves women, and that really comes across. He really sees the beauty in a mature woman, like through experience, through having children, through heartbreak, through love. Through all of that; Peter thinks adds to our beauty, and that’s really what we’re here doing today.” – Cindy Crawford.
