As the Venice Film Festival made a dramatic opening yesterday with the screening of Jake Gyllenhaal and Keira Knightley’s mountaineering thriller, Everest.
Known to be one of the oldest film festivals, stars arrived and stunned the 72nd event on the red carpet in full glamour mode, and here are some first looks from the evening;
Diane Kruger and Elizabeth Banks wowed at the Venice Film Festival yesterday in their white flowing gowns. Diane Kruger wore an intricately beaded pearl-white Prada gown, while Elizabeth Banks wore a white Dolce & Gabanna number with a jewelled open-design back.
Paz Vega‘s nude beaded halter neck gown makes for a perfect and ultra-feminine all-over texture.
The three stars all made an entrance arriving for the photocall bearing similar dark petal print dresses. While Pitch Perfect star Elizabeth opted for an elegant feminine look wearing dainty sandals, Diane, 39, added a youthful, edgy touch with black ankle boots, to her Preen by Thornton Bregazzi dress. They both channelled a Hollywood-esque hairstyle with light waves.
