The Lobster is a love story set in a dystopian near future, where single people (according to the laws of The City) are arrested taken to The Hotel. Here, they are obliged to find a romantic partner in just 45 days. If they fail, they are transformed into beasts and released into The Woods.
A desperate man escapes The Hotel to The Woods where The Loners live; and he falls in love, although this is against The Loner’s rules.

The Lobster is a blackly funny love story, and stars Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Léa Seydoux, John C Reilly, Ben Whishaw, Olivia Colman and Michael Smiley.
