Karl Lagerfeld, the brains behind the operation, has created air travel at its finest.

The departure boards displayed flights to the cities of Chanel events, including Shanghai, Dubai, New York, London and Rome. The state-of-the-art Chanel Airlines.

Much of the clothing paid homage to bold renditions of Air-France red, white and blue. The new collection featured bright, vibrant checks, fresh and updated tweed, voluminous skirts, silky print trousers; all fit for the club lounge. The garments were designed for ease of movement, with lots of layering and feather-light separates.

The buzz was sky-high at the Chanel Airport terminal, with models coming from all directions, showcasing the collection in the form of a busy, bustling terminal.

The beauty was equally as eye-catching, with pale blue make-up and glitter applied to the models’ eyes all over, for a mask-like effect, while the hair was kept super sleek and straight.
