Listen to me Marlon is a documentary that utilizes hundreds of hours of audio that Marlon Brando recorded over the course of his life to tell the screen legend’s story. Stevan Riley has made a film giving incredible insight into one of the most famous, charismatic and complicated characters the film industry has seen. He wrote and directed Listen to me Marlon using personal tapes that were found made by Brando himself.
Widely considered the greatest movie actor of all time, Marlon Brando had a legendary career, performing for more than 50 years and is famous for such films as A Streetcar Named Desire, Last Tango in Paris and The Godfather. He was an environmentalist – and a social activist long before it was normal or just fashionable to support such causes in Hollywood.

In the compelling and fascinating new documentary, Listen to Me Marlon, his life story in his own words. It is the definitive Marlon Brando documentary. The film fully explores the complexities of his exceptional career as an actor and his extraordinary life away from the stage and screen.
The narration through the film comes from more than 200 hours of personal audio tapes made by Brando himself, starting as early as the 1950’s.. The images that accompany the recordings are movie clips, archive interviews and photos of the star. It’s an absolute must-see for film fans, and a reminder that they just don’t make them like that any more!
