Pop sensation Adele has done it again and has taken stage on yet another mag looking immaculate. In a lengthy interview with TIME magazine; the young singer talks of her much-anticipated and most recent album, 25, which shattered countless sales records, and her success in life.
Adele is certainly modest when asked about her phenomenal career and why she thinks she is such a success; “The fact that I’m not shy or embarrassed to be falling apart,” she says when asked.
“Everyone falls apart, I think. A lot of people try to be brave and not shed a tear. Sometimes when you know someone else feels as s— as you do, or approaches things in a certain way just like you do, it makes you feel better about yourself. Even though my music is melancholy, there’s also joy in that. I hope I do bring joy to people’s lives, and not just sadness, but I think there’s there’s a comfort in it. But I honestly don’t know. If I knew, I would bottle it, and sell it to everyone else.”

Being only 25, Adele has a young son, Angelo who is three years old, and you’d think juggling her career and motherhood would be a tricky one, but Adele insists her son has in fact helped her keep a level-head; “The other day I was saying, ‘Oh God, I’m finding this really hard again with a kid,’” she says. “I have no time for myself because in between doing this, all my spare time is with him. But then I realized, he’s been keeping me totally cool and calm about the whole thing.”
She explains that being a mum has made her feel more purposeful than ever before: “He makes me so proud of myself, and he makes me like myself so much. And I’ve always liked myself. I’ve never not liked myself. I don’t have hangups like that. But I’m so proud of myself that I made him in my belly. Cooked him in my belly and then he came out of me!”

Adele was photographed for the magazine in New York in November. “I wanted to create timeless images that showed Adele in a simple and colorful light,” says the photographer. “She is like an old world beauty, so I just wanted to show her natural elegance. I was extremely nervous leading up to the shoot, as she’s inarguably the biggest pop-star in the world. I tried to tell myself it was just like shooting one of my friends in high school.”
But once he arrived on set, Madigan Heck found that his nerves disappeared and the singer was as down to earth as you can get; “We worked together for an hour,” he says, “but it felt like 10 minutes as we just joked around as if we had met before.”
