Once the news broke that NARS was bringing out a brand new foundation and we caught a glimpse of what they had to offer; we had to try this out for ourselves. I am an avid wearer of NARS foundation and I was delighted to find that their newest addition is… totally amazing.
Velvet Matte Skin Tint SPF30 delivers what they say it’s going to. They have filled a gap in the market of a liquid matte foundation that is natural and sheer. It is a low coverage foundation, oil-free and paints a thin veil of flawlessness on the skin. Almost feels like it blends into the skin like a primer – NARS’ innovative Velvet Illusion Complex technology creates a soft-focus effect with a cushiony-soft feel. It gives a hydrated matte look which is a breath of fresh air, and the perfect alternative to powder. It doesn’t look flat, masked or chalky.
In addition to evening out the skin, it has Rose Fruit Extract to help minimize pores and control shine with Vitamins C and E. I have oily skin, and this foundation lasts so well, without separating, fading or creasing. Plus the added protection is a complete bonus. I absolutely love it.
