Red Carpet

Highlights
The 2016 Grammys kicked off with a lively performance of Out of the Woods from Taylor Swift; who went on to take home Album of the Year honors later in the evening – but not before Taylor delivered a defiant acceptance speech.

Kanye West implied in his new song Famous, that he was the reason behind Taylor’s fame – need I say what we think of this? Taylor came back her ever-so-dignified and in her speech added:
“I want to say to all the young women out there – there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”
“But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”
Bravo, Taylor.

We can’t get enough of Adele. Even despite a few audio errors during her performance of All I Ask.

Lady Gaga’s tribute to the legend David Bowie was a mash-up of his most famous hits and she didn’t disappoint in her complete glam rock Bowie look. She opened the performance as Ziggy Stardust with Space Oddity, and broke into Changes, Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette City, Rebel Rebel, Fashion, Fame, Let’s Dance and Heroes.

The much-anticipated Lemmy Kilmister tribute from The Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup composed of Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, made their television debut on Monday night.

The Eagles paid tribute to Glenn Frey with a touching musical tribute. Members Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, Joe Walsh and Tim Schmit all took to the stage for a performance of Take It Easy.
