The 25th annual MTV Movie Awards thrilled movie fans with a night of exclusive clips, tributes, performances and laughs. On Saturday night some of our favourite stars hit the red carpet; and we wanted to relive the glamorous night and talk about how to get the best beauty looks below:
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande gave a smoking hot, soulful performance of Dangerous Woman wearing a Hollywood pink gown, backed with just a piano at the intimate show. We loved her stripped back performance, and her flawless look that night.

Cara Delevingne
Celebrity makeup artist Molly R. Stern worked on the gorgeous Cara Delevingne on Saturday night, and Stern’s goal was for “her skin to reign and her eyes to pop while rocking a modern lip that separated her from the rest.” We liked Cara’s sexy 90’s vibe lip shade perfectly enhancing her bright eye colour and blonde hair. Here’s a step-by-step of the makeup products Cara wore that night:
FACE
· Next, she sparingly applied NEW Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation in Vanille all over her face.
· To warm up her cheeks, Stern applied Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Praline, followed by Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Seduction.
EYES
· Stern painted Delevingne’s eyelids using Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Peach, then added a spot of dew using Jillian Dempsey Lid Tint Satin Eye Shadow Lid Tint in Lilac.
· Next, she very tightly lined her upper and lower lash line using TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Liquid Eye Definer in Caviar, a shiny black liquid liner. Then, she softly smudged the line using Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Deep Night, one of her kit staples.
· Stern curled her lashes and applied two coats of RIMMEL Lash Accelerator Mascara in Blackest Black.
BROWS
· To create Delevingne’s iconic brows, she painted on Laura Mercier Brow Definer for hold and dimension.
LIPS
· Creating a bold pout, Stern swiped Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Stripped onto Delevingne’s lips.
FINISHING TOUCH
· Before Delevingne left, Stern dusted Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder in Shade 5 ($47) to set the look for her night ahead. Stern shared, “She left looking stunning. Shocker, I know, not sure how anyone could mess that up!”
