Hourglass Cosmetics has announced two exciting beauty launches this Spring, promising to cover all the bases that you need to get super healthy-looking, glowing skin from within – who would pass on that? Not us. Here’s what they have hitting the shelves this month:
Colour correcting can be somewhat mind-boggling and how to correctly apply those pastel yellow, green, lavender and orange shades can be hard to get your head around. Colour correcting has come a long way and now Hourglass have gone that one step further with their Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer.
Hourglass have three pearlescent colour correctors which work to correct the light in which your skin radiates, reflecting a pigment to balance out the warmth or coolness of your skintone. To be honest anything with the word ‘ambient’ in that Hourglass have to offer – we’re already keen. Named Dim Light, Luminous Light and Mood Light, we just know these beauties are going to make us feel brighter, refined, radiant… and sexy. It must be all this mood lighting going on. And we rather like the sound of them…
Each primer can be worn on top of your moisturiser, before you put on your (optional) foundation to ensure your skin looks awake, and radiates from within. They are oil-free so they don’t feel greasy on the skin, and no matte foundation will look flat or dull ever again!
Hourglass Light Correcting Primer, £36, is available exclusively at Space NK from May. The collection will launch in Harrods, Liberty, select Harvey Nichols and John Lewis stores from 1st June.
With the bases all sorted; Hourglass has also introduced their new Illume Sheer Colour Trio, which is a gorgeous sculpting cream palette. This includes a cream bronzer, blush and highlighter all in one for the ultimate travel companion. The creams are a luxurious cream-to-satin finish, with smooth, soft and lightweight texture.
Get a refreshing sunny glow or define your cheekbones with the bronzer; brighten, glow and lift with the highlight; and add a touch of colour with the universal shade blush for gorgeous flushed cheeks.
Hourglass Illume Sheer Colour Trio is £54 and is available at Liberty, Space NK and select Harvey Nichols and John Lewis stores from this month.
