Big names light up the screen in Ocean’s Eight, with Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter. Filmmaker Gary Ross directs the all-star cast, also including Matt Damon and James Corden.
The spin-off of the Ocean’s Trilogy follows the eight women as they plan and attempt to execute a heist in New York City. Sandra Bullock plays the title role, as Debbie Ocean. Ocean leads the way in stealing a necklace from the Met Ball with a goal of framing a gallery owner.
The connection with the Ocean’s Trilogy is said to be that Bullock’s character is the sister of Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney. The writers have been pretty tightlipped otherwise, but the question we’re all wondering is will the women be successful in the heist?! We’ll have to wait and see, as the film is scheduled to be in UK cinemas Summer 2018.
A number of stars make cameo appearances including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Katie Holmes, Olivia Munn, Anna Wintour, Alexander Wang, Hailey Baldwin, Zayn Malik,and more. We can’t wait to see this!
