Gifted is such a touching and gripping story as Frank raises his niece as his own. Their relationship is very strong and though he speak to her and treats her like an adult, unlike her mother, who was one of the worlds top mathematicians who spent her childhood studying, he wants Mary to have the best childhood. He makes a series of decisions he believes will be in Mary’s best interest, but he still has his doubts he’s raising her right. In the end he realises that there needs to be a good balance and that all a child really needs is to be surrounded by loved ones who will support them no matter what.
