I’ve always been a fan of a bold lipstick, but I’ve never liked having to worry about whether it’s all in place and none has escaped onto my teeth. Over Christmas, I gave myself the gift set of stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. The Star-Studded Eight gift set comes with 8 mini versions in different colours for £45. I liked this because I could try them all out and see what I might like more of for everyday wear.
The liquid lipstick applies with a wand-like your typical liquid lipstick or gloss. Most of the lipsticks are matte finish, but they have shimmer finishes in several colours as well.
I’ve found that if I apply a moisturising lipstick primer, the matte formula isn’t too drying either! I like Patina for a deep everyday pink and Aria for a bolder berry tone. For a lipstick that lasts through a full day of wear, a meal, and a cup of tea, I say stila Stay All Day is a winner.
