We’re sure that you’ve seen him before; he was in two major films last year that grossed over £593 million together – Maleficent featuring Angelina Jolie and The Giver with Meryl Streep. He’s already very well known throughout the industry but he still remains “that boy who was in…” to most of us. So, let’s formally introduce him to the public.
His name is Brenton Thwaites and he’s an Aussie boy. Born in Cairns, Queensland, Australia to be exact. As many young actors, he got his start on the small screen being featured in the Fox teen drama series SLiDE – as Luke Gallagher and Australia’s Home and Away.
Most recently he’s starring in the film Son of a Gun with Alicia Vikander and Ewan McGregor. Pretty big time. Thwaites is playing JR, leading the cast and plot with Ewean McGregor. Son of a Gun hits cinemas on the 30th of January. We’ve seen it. It’s definitely worth a movie night out.
