Adele has finally been confirmed as the new Bond girl. Ok, ok, she’s not actually going to be a Bond girl, but for the singer, the accolade of recording the theme song for the new James Bond Skyfall film, is just as impressive, if not more so than wading out of the water in a itsy-bitsy bikini. Joining the likes of Dame Shirley Bassey, Jack White, Alicia Keys and Tina Turner, the award-winning singer will record the theme song, also named Skyfall, for the twenty-third Bond film.
It has been reported that Adele has already recorded at least part of the song which will be released towards the end of October, around the same time that the film hits cinemas on the 26th.
