British Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen is famous for his beautifully balanced opposites, his quirky and mysterious ethos within his design. McQueen have now unveiled their first in house fragrance; McQueen Parfum.
Called ‘a scent for night owls‘, the McQueen Parfum has landed exclusively this March in Harrods, featuring a luxury gold and black design with encrusted golden feathers flowing from the lid. It is simply exquisite, a small work of art. This one will certainly sit centre-piece on your vanity, or anywhere in your home with pride.
The theme of night-time blooming flowers has created this special scent, with an unconventional mix of Sambac jasmine, tuberose and ylang-ylang. It mixes traditional with modern and is inspired by Haute Perfumerie. The delicate jasmine comes out on top, which is followed by vetiver, clove, pink and black pepper to add a gothic, warm mood.
The dark beauty and elegance of the designer entirely translates into this scent, under the directorship of Sarah Burton. She has captured McQueen perfectly.
