I have fine hair; annoyingly fine. It goes limp and even the hint of conditioner on its ends and it becomes as soft and unruly as a bowl of glass noodles when colour is applied. To compensate for that limpness I have highlights, use a lot of styling products, and I never dry naturally. So, as you can imagine hair that is fine, limp and also crispy and dry can be annoying.
And so it is, I tried the Alterna Bamboo mist with trepidation. I like Alterna as a brand. Their shampoos are lightweight but powerful. When you spray the mist you have an instant sheen; hair that looks natural and not processed. The mist is incredibly lightweight yet it has all nourishing and organic ingredients such as avocado and obviously, the bamboo.
I read that 75 per cent of participants in a clinical study prefer Kendi over the hot product from the last two years, argan oil.
Kendi oil is ethically sourced from Indonesia. It also contains the full line-up of omegas which helps with what appears to be instant penetration of oil to hair.
For me the most important component to this micromist is that it does not weigh the hair down. It works spectacularly well on my damaged and fine problem hair. It is a must have.
