In a departure from their usual ‘designer’ collaborations, H&M have upped the ante by enlisting Italian fashion editor of Vogue Japan, Anna Dello Russo, to create a line of accessories for an early October launch. The street style star, blogger and fashion aficionado is renowned for her love of head-to-toe runway looks, outlandish creations and elaborate headwear. And the Anna Dello Russo for H&M is set to be suitably ‘over the top’ and as ‘unabashedly glamorous’ as the director herself.
The line will include jewellery, sunglasses, shoes, bags and a trolley and from the images appears to be gold and turquoise heavy with a focus on intricate detailing.
Anna says,
“I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M have involved a Fashion Director in a special project. This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it.”
“As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day”
