Last night saw the European premiere of Les Misérables, in London where Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman and the rest of the all-star cast put on their best for the red carpet walk. The film has had rave reviews thus far, as it brings Victor Hugo’s classic novel and the world-renowned play, to life on the silver screen.
As expected, Anne Hathaway stole the show, despite her seriously strange choice of dress, radiating a lovely newly-wed glow and showing off her new pixie haircut.
The ivory, pearl-covered gown is part of the Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture collection, and while it means some serious high fashion business on the catwalk, we can’t say that we loved it on the red carpet. It may be curve-hugging and floor-length with a flattering plunging back, but we’re just not sure what to make of the dolman-style sleeves or that circular halterneck piece. Of all the dresses in the world Anne, why this one? Why?!
