I’d never heard of Arabelle Skin Sense – they are gorgeous floral handmade creams made with the finest of ingredients and are 100% natural. They all contain natural flower plant extracts and herbs and they’ve come up with a gorgeous spring range. The body cream called Garden of Herbs (£28.25) is exactly as you imagine it: walking into a spring garden where you’re immersed in delicate herbs and gentle spices. I like the texture of the cream, it’s light and non-greasy and it’s perfect treat to your body to smother yourself in it and smell like the garden of herbs.
The other spring flavour is Cherry Blossom Whipped Creme (£28.25). I’ve always loved cherry blossom, I grew up on a street that went pink in May. This has an extremely bouquet scent; the cherry blossom is harmonised with jasmine, rose, lily of the valley and freesia. The base has powdery iris, musk and precious woods. If your whole body is smelling of something rather than just a quick whiff of you, it changes not only the way you feel but the way you interact with other people. The Cherry Blossom with its base of woodiness makes you feel strong, sexy but at the same time insanely floral. It makes you accepted by everybody. Everyone wants a bit of you. The Garden of Herbs made me feel like I was a fairy, that I’d come from somewhere magical.
The creams have a pleasantly long-lasting aroma but because they are small, you can take them out with you and refresh on various body parts that you can easily expose. I also like the idea that you become an aroma rather than a woman doused in perfume. Of course, they make your skin glowy and moisturised but that’s secondary to the gorgeousness of how they smell.
