I went to try the new atis salad bar bar that has just opened its second home in Belgravia with a friend this week. As we walked in and saw all the vibrant colours of the fresh salad ingredients we both said, this is exactly what we need. That’s how I would describe what eating at atis is, just the right kind of nourishment your body needs…there’s also delicious vegan brownies, so your eyes, belly and soul are definitely happy too.
Since opening their flagship store in October 2019, atis has been on a mission to get more people eating nourishing, plant-forward food that makes you feel good. Their fundamental foundation is all about being healthy, upbeat, making you feel good and bringing an energetic buzz with every bowl.
The flavour packed menu offers rotating seasonal bowls of nourishing twists on loved classics in an array of healthy and delicious colour-packed salads and warm bowls. Build your own bowls are a highlight of atis’ offering, allowing guests to choose wherever the mood takes them with options of Roasted umami aubergine, Grilled shrooms, Roasted squash, Blackened chicken thighs and Pesto salmon. We both went for the Miso Hungry salad bowls topped with roasted salmon as well as the umami aubergine, we were hungry! On recommendation by our delightful server Petra, we had the most delicious cashew dressing on our salmon instead of pesto, this was such a hearty, nourishing bowl of food.
There is water available for free, but we went for a C Press Raw juice with our salad, we were eating and drinking all the rainbows. Even though we were pretty full the vegan brownies were just a bit irresistible, we rolled out and walked back to Victoria tube very satisfied. You can eat in or get a takeout, this is a really friendly place to sit in and the staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back and can totally recommend this place to everyone looking for a healthy and tasty bowl of food either on the go or pop in for a pit stop and watch the world go by out the window.
Eccleston Yards is a great little spot just by Victoria station where you can find a green space and independent stores and place to eat outside.
