Balmain x H&M are back, and looking better than ever!

Last night the ‘Balmain army’ moved from the streets of Paris to New York, where they staged a catwalk to showcase its massively anticipated new collab with H&M.

VIP’s flooded the event, with guests like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Alexa Chung. Olivier Rousteing, 30 year old creative director of Balmain, also called up Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio and American model Karlie Kloss to walk the runway. The stars watched fellow supermodels friends Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid take to the catwalk modelling the collection, which will go on sale in stores worldwide on November 5.

But watch out #HMBalmainNation, people say the collaboration may have been upstaged by the #backstreetboys pop reunion. Yes – you read it right, the popular 90’s group The Backstreet Boys made a comeback, performing live as some of the worlds most popular models paraded down the catwalk. After the show, the boys tweeted to thank Rousteing for hiring them. They have certainly taken this opportunity to prove that yes, Backstreet’s Back alright…

A campaign video starring Kendall riding a futuristic subway is currently in production (the film itself is yet to be released but you can watch the behind the scenes clip released by H&M here)
