One of my favourite New York restaurants, Balthazar, has opened up in Covent Garden, on the corner of Russell Street and Wellington Street, just across from The Royal Opera House.
Founder, Keith McNally has endeavoured to remain as true to the New York original as possible, serving up all day food and great wine. As in New York, there is also the Balthazar boulangerie, housed next door, offering a selection of artisan breads, as well as a wide selection of homemade pastries, salads and sandwiches to take away throughout the day.
