We’ve seen Barbie designer collaborations come and go, though these normally result in a special edition Barbie doll. This time the aim of the Barbie, designer partnership is to create a ready to wear collection for real live ladies to wear.
Brands already on board include Lord & Taylor, Wildfox and Forever 21, and they will al create collections based upon Barbie and her legacy through the ages.
She’s been a horse rider, a doctor, a mother and of course a Princess, but now she’s turning fashion designer. Is there anything this girl can’t do? It seems not. We can’t wait to get our hands on the designs, which are due to hit stores in September.
