I’m a big fan of the oil cleanser. I like the way it makes your skin feel. I like the way it leaves a residue of glow so I was very excited to try Bare Minerals new product Skin Volumising Oil Serum £38. It’s flying off the shelves. It’s a new secret weapon that contends with early signs of ageing and makes your skin look super luminous. You use a tiny drop once or twice a day before moisturising and it’s spring on the face. Winter and dry skin is over. I love this product because I have sensitive skin and it loves the skin. It doesn’t make it red or weird, it just makes it look plump and juicy and super hydrated.
Bare Minerals is a brand that’s grown over the years but it’s always specialised in skin luminosity. Their products are kind to the skin, well thought out and their Complexion Rescue – the best of a BB, a CC and a tinted moisturiser – has been consistently voted number one. The Volumising Oil Serum is equally as good a product. I’ve even used some on my permanently dry lips and found that it works as a volumising tool there. Some of the active ingredients include Plantain leaf extract to help enhance facial volume, Lady’s Slipper which is a member of the orchid family, traditionally known for its calming properties, lavender also known for calming, Vitamin B3 to help the skins resistance, Evening Primrose Oil for moisture, Rosehip seed oil, rich in Omegas 3 and 6 and Baobab Seed Oil, especially for dry skin.
It also re-energises your skin so you feel very fresh and very much as if your skin is going into a new season. In trials 100% of women in 8 weeks felt an improvement in their skin as far as the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles and 98% of women felt that radiance had improved.
