The third and final fragrance in the Boss line of scents for women has launched, and we’re just a little bit obsessed with it. Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme EDP 50ml (£49.00) follows up Boss Jour and Boss Nuit, this time focusing on the more laid back, indulgent side of the Boss woman. It comes in a simple, light pink bottle with gold accents and a crystal cap. It’s a feminine and flirty, much like the scent itself.
Ma Vie is imbibed with notes of cactus blossom, cedarwood and a pink floral bouquet including freesia, jasmine and rose bud. The result is a scent that’s fresh and sweet, but not cloying. Jason Wu, artistic director of Boss womenswear, said that Ma Vie is meant to be bright and uplifting, and I couldn’t agree more. Once it’s on your wrist, you won’t be able to resist raising it to your nose for an indulgent sniff.
Gwyneth Paltrow serves as the face of Ma Vie, and graces the side of the perfume’s box in a chic tuxedo. She’s looking fierce and feminine, the embodiment of the Boss woman that this lovely fragrance is intended to evoke.
