BRYT Skincare

BTYT Skincare are a brand which believes in looking after your skin using natural ingredients. Forget Parabens, Sulphates, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, Silicone and GM ingredients, BRYT is made out of naturally sourced antioxidants. This skincare brand has worked out a three step system using the purest plant ingredients – Cleanse (Step 1), Nourish (Step 2) and Protect (Step 3).

I’ve been trying out BRYT for the past couple of weeks and I absolutely adore it!

I’m normally quite sceptical when using new skincare products because my skin is quite sensitive and doesn’t get on well with oily products. The good thing about BRYT is that as mentioned previously, it’s made out of natural ingredients.

Firstly I began by using BRYT Cleanse – a gentle cleansing foam, which I rubbed gently into my face and neck using the BRYT Mitt. The cleanser helped get rid of any dead skin and any makeup residue, leaving my skin feeling fresh.

The cleanser can also leave your skin feeling tight and even a little bit dry, so don’t forget to follow through the next step by nourishing the skin. BRYT offers three different serums to suit your skin type – boost serum, normal skin to sensitive skin and calm serum. If like myself you have oily skin, I would definitely stay away from the boost serum and opt for the calm serum, especially if you are applying makeup on top as this can leave your face looking shiny.

The final step is moisturiser; BRYT have both a daytime moisturiser and a night creme. BRYT Daytime is a daily moisturiser containing SPF15 and BRYT Night is a night cream, which contains African Marula Oil, known for its moisturising and healing properties. These are both great moisturisers, although I did find the daytime cream can make my skin quite oily throughout the day, therefore I wouldn’t recommend using before applying your makeup. It can also make your makeup appear quite shiny and ultimately slips off a lot easier throughout the day. The night-time cream is quite powerful and you will find that your face feels quite nourished in the mornings. Personally I opt for the daytime moisturiser in the weekends when I don’t tend to wear as much makeup.
