Caudalie is a brand that used to be associated with swanning off to France and picking up your favourites from the pharmacie. Now, thank goodness, it’s a regular on the beauty shelves in the UK, and we can try their newest creations as soon as they launch.
Their latest release is the Polyphenol C15 Range. It sounds fairly clinical, but essentially it’s been created to combat the toll that the busy and stressful ‘thousand lives’ we live ever day takes on our skin. Think about it, you can be a cook, a mother, a gym bunny, a workaholic, a gardener, a hostess, a runner, all in the same day. And trying to keep your complexion clear can seem like just another chore to add to the list. Enter the Caudalie Polyphenal C15 range to our aid.
The products fight the effects of the weather, pollution, toxins, diet, stress and lack of sleep. And as always with Caudalie, the active ingredients are reassuringly natural in their essence. Think grape seed extract, calendula flower extract and witch hazel extract, as well as plumping hyaluronic acid.
The Ant-Wrinke Defence Serum (£35.00) works like a powerful skin-boosting shot. It lessens the appearance of wrinkles, smooths the skin’s texture and adds a glow that screams health.
The Anti-Wrinkle Eye & Lip Cream (£26.00) reduces dark circles and smoothes the areas around the eyes a lips, both notoriously delicate and susceptible to the signs of ageing.
The Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid (£29.00) contains SPF 20, so protects against the damaging effects of the sun whilst also acting acting as an anti-oxidant and anti-wrinkle treatment. The Anti-Wrinkle Protect Day Cream (£29.00) does the same job, protecting the skin from free radicals, but also packs a great hydration punch.
My favourite product from the range after trying them all out is the SPF20 Protect Fluid, it’s such a good moisturiser for everyday, with a sensible protection if you are just walking to and from the station and the office. It goes on really easily and doesn’t have the white residue some SPF’s leave on your skin or are just impossible to rub in. Also perfect for travel in its tube, I’m taking this one everywhere.
