Today I had clay sprayed on my face and looked like an ancient mummified statue. And I did it to get fresh radiance!

When you think of clay and spray you wonder how it is possible but Clayspray have blended the purest clay, spring water and hydrogels.

The clay comes from deposits formed over 100 million years ago and it is found 60 metres deep; it comes from Spain. This natural spring water is used to create a mineral rich emulsion and the hydrogel ensures freshness and hydration for the skin.

When I went to have my clay facial I also tried something called Devil`s Claw Clayspray. It is a body treatment and the previous client had just ran the London Marathon. The Devil`s Claw was applied to her aching legs and she felt soothed and revived. I tried some on my hand and it had the most amazing cooling sensation. And it was quite surprisingly intense.

There are several to choose from for the face; one with green tea, which is great for toning and calming and good after sunbathing if you need relief.

There is Red Clay with cacao, which is purifying and restorative, and extra nourishing and glow giving.

There is White Clay, which is silicone rich, and a super cleanser. It removes dead cells, impurities and makes for younger, softer and refreshed skin. White Clay with Aloe Vera is extra softening and red clay is good for absorbing impurities and leaving the skin with a fresh, matte finish.

I had no idea which one to pick so I chose a white clay AND a cacao so I looked like a prehistoric panda.

The clay goes on very soft and springy. It takes a while for it to dry. It is not at all a sensation you would expect. But when it does dry with your face in it you feel tightened, lifted, detoxed and tingling with goodness. The clay spray was removed with natural spring water from their H2O spray collection and the result was super refreshing.

Clayspray is hypoallergenic and animal friendly. It is free of artificial colours and perfume but you can smell mint in the Devil`s Claw and just a hint of Cacao in the Cacao. It is reasonably priced at £25 and this size bottle will last a good while.
