Code Beautiful VLM (volumising, lengthening mascara) (£19.95) was created by Sarah Cross and Kirsti Shuba, two beauty industry professionals who felt that there still wasn’t one wonder mascara out there that truly delivered. So they spent a year deciding what were the best things about the mascaras currently out there, and what could be improved on.
With Code Beautiful VLM they say they have come up with the LBD of mascaras, that was fit for every occasion – subtle and natural, yet buildable for drama, clump and flake proof, with enough staying power to survive teary moments, but easy to take off. We can personally attest that it does all of the above! And it’s garnered some serious celeb attention since its launch. Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson are both fans (both fans of the more natural lash look), and yet makeup artist royalty Mary Greenwell used it on each member of Little Mix, for whom lash wise, the bigger the better. If that doesn’t show its versatility nothing does.
