I was never a fan of foundation. I love summer because I can get away with either no base, or a slapdash sweep of a very light BB or CC cream. The heaviest I used to go was a thicker tinted moisturiser. Gradually though I’d dip into the world of foundation, trying out shades, before occasionally getting scared off by something too matte, too orangey, too mask-like. And then I found Lancome’s Teint Miracle Foundation (£29.50).
It’s a foundation-phobe’s dream. Light as a feather, dewy in appearance and subtle, yet buildable in colour. If you look at it in the bottle you can see a swirl of pearlescent pigments that once applied, mimic and compliment a fresh, radiant glow.
It was love at first application.
