I agree with the experts that your hair always reflects your state of health. A healthy body is reflected in your hair and nails – that’s a given – and stress and bouts of illness can really stop that hair from shining. Mine has been through the mill recently and I have been looking for something that would put the curl and shine back into my locks.
Macadamia Professional Activating Curl Cream (rrp £18.80) is part of the Macadamia range which includes creams and oils, specifically developed to solve a whole range of hair-care problems. I have tried other products from the range before so I was expecting it to smell gorgeous (it did) but I was really impressed with the way in which my hair really very quickly took on a much healthier sheen while getting rid of frizz.
My hair is very curly and when out of condition (and like most curly hair) it looks very dry and frizzy – but no longer! This product has been developed specifically to help define curls and waves and it certainly does that! My hair formed soft ringlets that stayed in place without feeling that my hair was full of product and worked as well on dry hair first thing in the morning as it did on wet – so is great for refreshing styles between washes.
You only need to use a tiny amount to have a great effect which makes it reasonably priced and worth the investment. Protection is provided by pistachio oil and Argan oil helps to repair and strengthen hair. Macadamia oil is rich in Omega 7,5 and 3 fatty acids which really help to moisturise alongside soy protein. All-in-all a great product for stressed out curls that want to get their bounce back.
