When it comes to eye creams I find it hard to decide what to opt for. Everything seems to be geared towards anti-aging. And fair enough, it’s one of the most delicate areas of skin on our face, it’s the first one to show any signs of dehydration and tiredness.
After the dip in wintery temperatures the skin around my eyes began to suffer, and dry patches quickly appeared. Action stations! I needed something to fix this asap. Enter SUQQU Dual Eye Balm (£80.00). It was made for this type of dilemma. Sectioned into a double palette, it gives two types of eye care in one. The yellow balm works to replenish elasticity where its needed, like across the eyelids, and the white cream hydrates and brightens, ideally around eye sockets and the lower edges of eyes.

The idea is to apply a very small pea-sized amount of the yellow balm onto the eyelid in an upward motion, then apply double the amount of the white cream to the eye area you feel is more prone to dryness, from the outer corner to the inner corner of eyes.
It’s pricey, but the results were brilliant. My eyes went back to having that dewy, bright lustre they seemed to keep through summer. My skin felt supple and soft, and was banished of any flakiness or irritation. A little goes a very long way too, the mark of a good skincare product, so if you’re put off by the modest size of the pot, be advised it will last you just as long as many eye creams twice its size in volume.
Considering the price and the fact that the ‘one fits all’ tag hardly ever applies to skincare, try if possible to test the product in-store, to make sure the consistency suits your tastes and your skin type.
The beauty of the combination pot, is that you can adapt your eye routine daily to target increased dryness, or to gently maintain good levels of moisture.
It’s a well thought out skincare product that has a thumbs up from us.
