Weleda is very much an eco-friendly brand, so this gets a thumbs up from us right from the start. Weleda Aknederon Purifying Lotion (£10.00) is one of Weleda’s real hero products. It uses the balancing properties of sage, thyme, and lavender, together with the calming nature of calendula and chamomile to soothe irritated skin. Witch hazel and sulphur also gently tackle any problem areas.
If your skin is suffering from seasonal change, or you’re fast despairing over blotching, uneven texture or spots, this should be your first port of call. It’s an absolute joy to apply, simply sweep over skin with a cotton pad before moisturising and you can feel it get to work. The smell is wonderful, and totally natural.
This little beauty has made it into the main shelf of our bathroom cupboard, and it’s never ever leaving.
