On the French Riviera last night, $25 million was raised for AIDS research thanks to the annual amfAR gala, this year curated by Carine Roitfeld.
Attracting the world’s hottest across art, film, fashion and music, the 20th anniversary night featured dinner, drinks, a gold-themed catwalk show in a tribute to the late Elizabeth Taylor plus an auction offering up some out-of-this world (quite literally in the case of a trip on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space flight accompanied by Leonardo DiCaprio) experiences.
