The BAFTA TV awards, held last night at London’s Royal Festival Hall, showcased the best of British acting talent. Whilst the thespians were busy picking up their awards, we were pouring over the red-carpet fashion choices.

Despite her many nominations, sadly Sienna didn’t pick up any awards at last night’s ceremony. However, there’s no doubt that she was a winner in the fashion stakes, rocking this pale blue, lace Matthew Williamson number. We particularly love the on-trend Charlotte Olympia perspex clutch.

It’s not often that we find ourselves coveting the outfits of reality-tv stars thanks to their typically try-hard nature. And yet, we couldn’t take our eyes of Millie Mackintosh (fiance of Prof. Green) in this gorgeous and body-baring grecian Sass & Bide number complete with cut out detailing and thigh-high slit. We love the golden wrist cuff accessories and simple pulled-pack ponytail.

Award-winning actress and comedian Olivia Colman showcased her slim silhouette as well as her acting skills in this purple-hued Vivienne Westwood number with, cinched bodice, drape detailing and plunging neckline.

Actress Helen McCrory tapped into this season’s floral and monochrome trends in this beautifully feminine, oversized-print black and white gown.

TV presenter Laura Whitmore was undoubtedly one of the best dressed of the evening in a black and gold Sophia Kah gown. Simple, sleek and stunning.

Sticking to the less-is-more ethos, Dr. Who actress Jenna Louise Coleman wore a simple nude dress with lace detailing, adding a tough-luxe edge with her black and red studded Kzeniya clutch.

We’re on the fence with this Victoria Beckham number on Louise Redknapp. We would have ditched the (all too obvious) strapless bra and added a slick of crimson lipstick for a shot of brightness. Fashion points for the crystal-clear clutch.

Although tassels simply shouldn’t work on the red-carpet (or in fact anywhere other than a festival), thanks to the overarching The Great Gatsby vibe we can’t help but find ourselves warming to Kara Tointon’s tasselled and embellished strapless number. Especially when paired with those set waves. Beautiful.
