Last week it was confirmed that the one-and-only Beyonce would be directing – and starring in (natch!) – an autobiographical docu-film about herself.
The film, which has been given the tagline ‘Raw. Real. Revealed‘, will be aired on American TV channel HBO, home to the likes of current must-watch dramas Boardwalk Empire and Girls, in February. The global superstar said in a statement, “This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home. Some of my favourite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming.’
The programme, whose name has yet to be revealed, will include intimate footage of various aspect’s of Beyonce starry-life, showing the singer during her pregnancy, with husband Jay-Z plus snippets of her energetic stage routines.
And here’s the teaser video, to say that we can’t wait for February is something of an understatement, but in the meantime we’ll spend party season boogying to Bee in anticipation.
